Studio in the Woods is an ongoing educational programme promoting the exchange of architectural knowledge and skills through experimentation and direct experience.
Studio in the Woods is a three-day outdoor summer workshop led by a group of award winning architects and engineers aimed at architectural students, practicing architects and a wider audience with an interest in place, landscape and the direct experience of making and working with materials to hand.
In 2011, for the second time, Studio in the Woods will take place from the afternoon of Thursday 14 July to the afternoon of Sunday 17 July 2010 at New Barn Farm, surrounded by a vast area of hills, woodlands and fields on the the Isle of Wight.
Architects and consultants taking part in this year's studio include Gianni Botsford Architects, erect architecture, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studio, Mitchell Taylor Workshop, Mole Architects, Pryce & Myers, Studio Weave, Tall Engineers and Carpenter Oak and Woodland.
